Rodney is a millennial organizer, advocate, and political consultant. Some of the highlights of his career include interning at the U.S. Justice Department Civil Rights Division in the Voting Section, serving as a Community Organizer at the Barbara Jordan / Bayard Rustin Coalition and serving as a Public Policy and Networks Associate at the National Black Justice Coalition, where he was instrumental in the marriage equality grassroots campaign field efforts in Maryland.
Rodney also externed at the California Department of Justice in the Office of the Attorney General and worked at the Greenlining Institute, and Public Advocates, where his focus was on metropolitan housing and transportation equity. Rodney’s most recent accomplishments, include service at the California State Capitol and at the Democratic Party of Georgia, as part of their historic coordinated campaign, which sought to elect Stacey Abrams as the country’s first Black woman Governor. He is a graduate of the University of California Merced, UCLA, and the University of California Hastings College of the Law.
